Alpha Epsilon Delta
The National Premedical Honor Society is dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship — including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and others. Alpha Epsilon Delta welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional healthcare career. The Society offers opportunities for students’ intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community.
Students interested in joining the Society must complete at least three semesters of study at Rensselaer, and maintain a grade point average of 3.2.
Society of Biological Sciences
The Society of Biological Sciences is a campus organization dedicated to representing and accommodating the academic, professional, and social views of undergraduate students pursuing degrees in the biological sciences. Student opinions, needs, wants, and expectations can be properly expressed and serviced by opening and strengthening the communication channels between undergraduate students, faculty, and department chairs.
